For players League Age 7–10*, AA introduces kid-pitch, scoring, and tournament play. The first three innings use machine-pitch, and kids pitch from the fourth inning on. Strikeouts are counted, but no walks are issued—coaches step in to pitch if needed. Teams field 10 players, rotating evenly. Scores are only kept during the final two weeks before the AA Tournament. Practices can start as early as 4 p.m., and games can end as late as 7 p.m. on weekdays or Saturdays.
Note: 10-year-olds should try out for AAA unless new to baseball. If undrafted for AAA, they'll be placed in AA.
